  It's Boulder - you don't have oodles of options. That said - there are oodles of options in this ONE place. A weekly buffet with salad, pizza, wings? DUH! Sandwiches, pizza, wings, ice cream galore, chicken - all under one roof. The food is *always* good. I challenge any of the negative reviewers to substantiate their nonsense complaints. Ask anybody in town that eats at The River and they'll tell you - the River is a great place to eat - especially for Boulder. The negative reviews are probably employees at the across-the-street competitor - the very same competitor that passes off frozen philly steak sandwiches as "fresh".

  They have awesome chili cheese dog! I also like there chicken Alfredo pizza... I think that they call it the dutchmen pizza. They have some good food!!

  Went to the river multiple times and each time I was dissapointed. Pizza dilvered with raw dough, sandwhiches with no flavor (everything they sell is frozen and pre-packaged).
  
  Owner does not care for the quality of his food and of course the kids this place targets don't care.
  
  If your looking for a good place to eat in boulder go elsewhere. It is not hard to find a better place to eat.
